How to Clean a Quartz stone Countertop in a Bathroom

  • Quartz countertops can add a great deal of aesthetic value to your bathroom, but that value will diminish if you allow the counter to build up dirt and grime. As with any other surface in your home, you will need to clean your quartz countertop periodically to ensure it stays pleasant to look at. The process for cleaning quartz counters is slightly different than it might be for other materials because of non-porous nature of the stone.
1:Dust your countertop regularly with a standard dust rag to avoid any dust or dirt buildup.
2:Spray or otherwise apply a light, non-abrasive cleaner to any large stains, then wipe with a soft cloth. Non-abrasive cleaners will allow the quartz to keep its shine without damaging the material in any way. For extra-stubborn stains, use a non-scratch cleaning pad.
3:Remove water spots or streaks simply by spraying the area with water and wiping it down with a soft cloth.
4:Prise up any gum or gum-like substances -- such as toothpaste -- with a putty knife, then remove the remnants with non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth.
